Valentina Matosian

Valentina Matosian is a director, a writer, an actor, a USC film graduate, and a lover of The French New Wave. No matter the creative medium, she strives for art that’s free, authentic, and personal! Valentina just completed an add campaign on Super8 film for the hand woven bag brand, Unalome. Zula The Infinite, a short that she co-wrote and starred in, received Kickstarter Pick of the Week and went on to play in many festivals, including HollyShorts Film Festival. Another short she co-wrote and starred in, Dahlia's Menagerie, debuted at the Short Film Corner at the Cannes Film Festival. You may have seen her in front of the camera in various commercials as a futuristic alien gawking at great deals for Sprint or as a hipster eating her egg McMuffin on the go. Her next project is a short film based on a poem she wrote about candy and love and wasting time. She’s excited to bring her love for cinema into the commercial space.

When she’s not working, she is very likely in a yoga class, reading Sharon Olds, or daydreaming about picnics near the Seine.
